Riri Riza,

born in 1970, graduated from the Jakarta Arts Institute film department. His first full-length directorial effort was the musical drama Sherina’s Adventure. His subsequent films Eliana, Eliana and Gie won numerous awards at international film festivals.

Yusuf and Ambar are cousins, but canÕt help being attracted to each other. They miss the plane to a family gathering, and so must embark on a journey together driving to Jogjakarta. During the three days of the trip, the two of them meet a lot of people and experience things that bring them closer emotionally. At times, they lose control and give in to the passion of youth but mostly, they spend a beautiful time together Š a time that will stay in their memories for a long time. Through this trip, they learn to get over pain and mature, and their beautiful journey is over all too quickly. For that, the memory of Yusuf and Amber is going to be something we can all identify with. (Cineasia)
