Many young Asian video artists address the issue of everyday life from unusual perspectives – self-reflective or socially critical. Their thematic and technical variety demonstrates the fascinating energy and excitement of the new generation of Asian artists. We’ll be presenting video art thematically related to the festival programme in locations close to the festival cinemas.

Numerous events support the program: the festival party with a japanese band performing, djs and djanes with Asian background, panels and discussions as well as various filmspecific and practical workshops.
