Our goal is to offer independent filmmakers and their individual and wildly varied modes of expression an appropriate platform for their work.
The festival wants to bring our audience closer to other ways of life; the festival will give insights that are not shown in the mass media and mainstream film. asian hot shots berlin further aims to create a cultural exchange between German and Asian filmmakers. We aim to support young filmmakers with inspiration, contacts and new perspectives THAT OPENS DOORS for new projects and international cooperation.
