The yearly festival Cineastes Organization Osaka EX (CO2) introduces new talents and is the best proof, that there’s no reason to be worried about the young generation of directors in the Kansai region.

Among the best so far have been Karatsu Masaki and Nishio Hiroshi, whose narrative styles completely differ from each other.
