The film focuses on a group of tricycle drivers who have left their farmland to make a living in the small and poor city. They place all their hopes on their kids and believe their life will chang with the kids’ entry into university. But graduation of the oldest kid comes after four years and still no job in sight. In addition, the battle for the youngest and lazy one has begun. Wuding River is the affectionate portrait of social life via family structures.
