Noh Dong-seok (*1973) studierte Film an der Korean Academy of Film Arts.
His feature debut My Generation (2004), was shown in the competition of Pusan International Film Festival as well as at renowned international films festivals such as Rotterdam, Jeonju, Hong Kong and Singapore.

As in his acclaimed debut My Generation Noh again tells the story of reckless youth in his sequel shown in competition in Locarno. Two boys on the outskirts of town believe that their life is elsewhere but they have no means to pursue their dreams. Noh twists several conventions of gangster genre in a unique way and derives extreme tension and pace through minimalist style.
